And there was surpise – the list of available network adapters was empty. I clicked on that network card and a new pop up dialog appeared. I checked the settings of that VM and found that the correct adapter already should be selected. This is the core router inside my virtual lab and it always worked fine. It claims that one of the network adapters is not properly configured in the bridge mode and that I need to choose the correct network interface on my laptop. However, instead to running it normally, VirtualBox throw out an error message.
